"Stopped at the wine hut with 15 sleds. Met 10 leaving on our way in, 15 coming in on our way out, and a total of 50 there when we were having drinks and snacks. Cool fire, great workers, and great people to chat with." - Mark W.

Located in the heart of the ancient Penokee Mountains, Whitecap Mountains Resort is one of Wisconsin's largest four-season resorts. For those who don’t ski or snowboard, there is still plenty of fun and adventure to be had both on and off the mountains all winter long (the resort offers access to Thunderhead, Eagle's Nest, and Whitecap Mountain). We are approximately four hours away from Green Bay, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, Minnesota. The closest airport is Gogebic-Iron County Airport in Ironwood, Wisconsin, which is 35 minutes away. The Oneida County Airport in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, is about two hours away, and the Duluth International Airport is about two hours and 20 minutes away from the resort.
