Its hard to believe that September is already here. It seems like yesterday when we opened for the golf season. How time flies!
This summer we have been kept busy getting ready for the next ski season but we have also been maintaining the golf course and in August we opened the back nine holes. Although it is still “a work in progress” we are excited for next spring when the snow melts and things start to turn green again! We will truly have 18 holes of the most scenic and challenging golf in the Midwest.
This last 8 months has brought many new faces to Whitecap to compliment our staff.
Fred Tijan was brought to Whitecap to help us oversee Golf Course Maintenance Operations. Fred worked here awhile back when the course was fairly new so he brings much knowledge to this position.
Ben Bonitz is currently in charge of our Hotel and it’s staff. They have a big task ahead as we prepare for the next ski season. It took Ben three years to get a job here. Now that’s perseverance!
Kim Bradley has returned to the role of Food & Beverage Manager. Kim worked in the F&B Dept at the old lodge and her experience was welcomed by our whole staff.
Kalie Ress is our new Bar Manager. She is able to help Kim out in the F&B Dept and her knowledge of the Golf Course, Ski Area and local attractions makes her a veritable encyclopedia of things to do when you visit Whitecap.
